Hi, I'm Mehek Baig a student from the Auckland University of Technology. I'm currently in my second year of studies and major in Visual Effects, with minors in Animated Drawing and Motion Capture. I'm passionate about bring film visuals to life and aim to work for film studios. I'm a huge Marvel fan and also a Fast and furious movie series fan. Films tend to inspire me and I love the editorial process.
The shots in my demo reel are primarily from university projects, reflecting the skills I’ve developed throughout my journey as a VFX student at AUT. During my studies, I’ve had the opportunity to explore Compositing, CG, 2D Animation, and my personal favourite being Motion Capture, allowing me to experience different aspects of the filmmaking process.
