We are currently looking for talented Creative Technologists to join our growing team on an initial freelance, fully remote basis. Job Description

The Creative Technologist leverages Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) to create, enhance, and integrate visual assets that support the creative vision of Clients and the Visual Effects Supervisor. The Technologist is responsible for the aesthetic integrity, technical reliability, and creative consistency of all AI-generated imagery delivered for a task or project.

Under the guidance of the Head of Department, Department leads and Visual Effect Supervisors, the Creative Technologist produces high-quality AI-generated visual assets that meet the project’s creative direction, using a combination of AI-driven tools, custom nodes and workflows, curated datasets, stills, animated imagery, CG renders, and digitally enhanced elements.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate high-quality visuals and assets using AI-driven tools and pipelines, including image generation, model prompting, fine-tuning, dataset creation, upscaling, and iterative visual exploration.
• Collaborate with Head of Department, supervisors and artists across departments to create and integrate AI-generated elements into final shots.
• Maintain visual consistency across assigned shots and sequences, ensuring style, colour, quality, and creative intent are aligned.
• Build, adapt, and optimize Generative AI workflows - particularly within ComfyUI - along with GenAI tools, and assist in identifying creative and technical solutions.
• Contribute to internal R&D by testing emerging models, tools, and techniques and sharing findings with the wider team.
• Maintain high standards of visual quality, realism, and production readiness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of GenAI platforms and tools ( such as ComfyUI, image-to-image, image-to-video, video to video workflows, LoRA training and customization).
• Working knowledge of Compositing in Nuke on film or commercial projects.
• Strong artistic skills in composition, realism, style matching, lighting, and colour grading.
• Ability to work well under pressure, adapt quickly, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
