CG Developer (Pipeline)

DIGIC Pictures has been making 3D animated films for more than twenty years. We are a world-renowned animation studio creating high-impact trailers and cinematics for games, films, and commercials. We have won numerous prestigious awards and created short films for world-renowned brands such as Call of Duty, Netflix's Love, Death & Robots and Amazon's Secret Level series. Our team is currently working on several high-profile projects, including the animated film series based on the world-famous card game Magic: The Gathering for Netflix.

We are looking for a CG Developer with a Pipeline focus to maintain and develop our tools used for creating animated movies.

• Developing the software and tool backend for the production of 3D animated movies.
• Designing the pipeline and adapting it to new requests and challenges.
• Creating plugins, scripts and GUIs for optimizing and automating artist workflows and pipeline processes.
• Gathering requirements and designing new features with artists.
• Troubleshooting, maintaining and evolving existing production systems and tools.
• Documenting and presenting new tools and features.

• At least 5 years of CG Development or Pipeline Development experience in a CG production environment.
• Proficiency in Python and Qt.
• Experience developing plugins/scripts for DCC software - Maya, Nuke, Arnold and/or Houdini.
• Ability to understand, debug and extend complex pipeline tools.
• Strong communication skills, expertise with working directly with artists.
• Ability to work on a project alone or as part of a larger team.
• High level English proficiency in writing and speaking.

• Experience with C++ development.
• Experience in developing for Unreal Engine.
• Familiarity with the Rez package management system.
• Experience in designing and implementing CICD pipelines in GitHub/GitLab.
