FILE YOUR JOB APPLICATION [HTTPS://PUPPETWORKS.EU/] Position CG Supervisor Department Shot Production Location Budapest, Hungary / Home Office Description ResponsibilitiesEvaluate the technical requirements of the projects; propose optimal solutions synchronized with the schedule that are in accord with the Head of CG, Department Leads and Production Manager to realize the Director’s vision Create the Primary Asset List and first Shot Breakdown along with the Director for project bidding Create project/department breakdown along with the Production Manager for project bidding Identify possible technical problems and difficulties coming up in the daily meetings. Develop plans, and put those into effect; involving Production Manager if the schedule is also affected Review the schedule from bidding perspective Manage the technical directors (TDs) in solving technical problems occurring in production on day-to-day basis. Delegate tasks to the responsible parties and proactively eliminate potential obstacles before they impact the production Identify generic workflow issues, suggest possible solutions to Head of CG Participate in client meetings as needed Keep up with the current technology trends and tools (hardware and software) that best suit the studio, test them, and make recommendations to Head of CG with integration specifications RequirementsExpert in Maya and proficient in Houdini, Nuke and other industry-standard software At least 3 years of production experience, with a leadership background in Animation/VFX Thorough understanding of the CGI technologies, techniques and the studio’s pipeline Analytic thinking, proactivity and ability to reduce complex problems and find the possibly simplest solutions Experience in collaborating with R&D teams, ability to provide new tool specifications and test their implementation in a production environment Strong leadership skills, ability to maintain morale and workplace harmony while promoting productivity and quality standards Excellent organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication Fluent English both written and spoken Excellent aesthetic judgment AdvantagesExperience in Real-time (game engine) technologies If you're interested please apply with your CV and portfolio.
