Compositing Artists (Berlin) - Expression of Interest
We’re always looking to connect with talented Compositing Artists of all levels who are interested in joining our team on a freelance basis at RISE in Berlin. Whether you're just starting out or bringing years of experience, we’d love to hear from you.
The tasks:
- Creating high quality composites and integrating all elements into the sequence
- Matching our artificial elements to the shot plates and elevating fully artificial shots to a hyper realistic level
- Color correcting, retouching, rotoscoping, chromakeying, degraining and regraining of the images
- Collaborating with other artists on solving technical and creative challenges
- Working closely with various departments to ensure high quality standards of the production
Ideally you will have:
- At least 1–2 years of working in a professional VFX environment
- Good eye for detail and realism
- Good knowledge of 3D space compositing and multi-channel EXR workflow
- Solid knowledge of Nuke; general knowledge of Maya and/or Houdini is a plus
- Nuke scripting and customization in Python skills is a plus
- Familiarity with the USD pipeline is a plus
