Experienced Matte Painter

EXPERIENCED MATTE PAINTER Sony Pictures Imageworks is located on the unceded traditional territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. Job Description: Under the guidance of the feature animation production Environment Supervisor or Matte Painting Lead, create digital matte paintings that meet creative direction using live action elements, still photography, concept art, rendered CG elements and digital painted elements. Qualifications: Knowledge of Photoshop, Maya and Nuke is required. Knowledge of other tools such as Katana, Mari, Houdini, Speedtree or Linux is a plus. Experience of 3+ years in VFX or feature films is preferred. Please note that you must be able to provide a demo reel that illustrates your relevant artistic and technical experience that also includes the nuances for this specific role.
