We are currently looking for a Junior Concept Artist to join our quest.
Description:
The Junior Concept Artist reports to the Art Director or his assistance. This position requires creative and visually inspiring concept production for multiple high-profile titles with a broad range of responsibilities. The Junior Concept Artist will support the Art Director and development teams in guiding and refining a strong artistic vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality concept artworks to support our development teams and emerge as an interface between vision and reality
- Create character and take part in artistic direction
- Work independently on major design initiatives
- Help defining visual and art standards or processes and ensure all creative materials is consistent and in accordance with budget and vision
- Meet project deadline as set by Producer and Art Director
- Inspire people with your ideas
- Develop good and productive relationships with external partners
- Interact positively and effectively with employees at all levels within the organization, as well as with clients, and vendors
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Computer Animation, or other relevant areas of study and/or equivalent job experience
- Fresh graduated or 1+ years of industry (CG game or animation) or equivalent rigging experience
- Excellent drawing skills in both traditional and digital formats
- Conceptualization skills such as sketching, illustrating, drafting and painting
- Competent understanding of character design
- Ability and willingness to learn different art styles
- Ability to give and take direction constructively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience creating some or all the following: environments, props, and character/creature design, matte paintings, shot elements, storyboards
- Comfortable in creating art in a variety of aesthetic styles and technical implementations
- Ability to work to deadlines while implementing changes based on input from multiple sources
- Ability to work, assemble, research and reference material that will be influential to clients and design team.
