FILE YOUR JOB APPLICATION Position Lead Environment Artist Department Asset Production Location Budapest, Hungary / Home Office Description Job SummaryThe Lead Environment Artist is responsible for managing a team of artists and creating different types of assets using both hard surface and sculpted techniques. He/she oversees the creation and implementation of all environment art assets and ensures that the standard and quality of the assets are consistently high. He/she will collaborate with other departments to ensure the environments are cohesive with the project's narrative and design. Key ResponsibilitiesManage a team of environment artists and ensure their work meets quality standards and is completed on time. Provide constructive feedback to other artists and provide guidance to help them improve their skills and work Participate in regular meetings with other departments to ensure all assets meet specifications provided by all relevant departments Develop art assets and textures for environments using various software tools, such as 3D modeling, sculpting, and texturing software Ensure all environment assets are optimized and meet technical requirements Liaising with production on task assignment and scheduling of the team Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve the quality of the assets. RequirementsProven production experience within a team min. 5 years Strong understanding of asset production pipelines and workflows Proficient in 3D modeling, sculpting, and texturing software, such as Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter Basic understanding of Lighting and Look Development Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards Ability to troubleshoot technical problems Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines If you're interested please apply with your CV and portfolio.
