Production Coordinator - Assets (TV Featurette)

OUR STORY

For more than 35 years, Bardel Entertainment has been growing and evolving, yet at our core, we remain grounded in the creative roots of the craft of animation. Our pursuit of fresh ideas, techniques, and technologies is driven by the belief that together, through creativity and collaboration, we can accomplish anything! If you want to be part of an environment that empowers you to experiment, learn, and contribute to exciting projects, come and join us.

Support the Assets Department by coordinating day-to-day production activities for a featurette project. Work closely with Asset Leads and Supervisors to manage schedules, track asset builds, and ensure deliverables align with overall production goals. Serve as a key communication link between asset artists and cross-departmental teams to keep the pipeline moving smoothly.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and updating asset schedules, build lists, and assignments
  • Track progress of assets (modeling, surfacing, grooming, etc.) using ShotGrid (or equivalent), ensuring timely and accurate updates
  • Facilitate communication between Assets and downstream departments (Rigging, Layout, FX, Lighting, etc.) to support smooth asset integration
  • Organize and participate in production meetings; document notes, action items, and approvals
  • Identify potential bottlenecks in the asset pipeline and proactively coordinate solutions with Leads and Production
  • Coordinate resources, reference materials, and deliveries related to asset builds
  • Prepare reports, status updates, and review materials for Supervisors and stakeholders

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience as a Production Coordinator, preferably within animation, VFX, or asset-focused departments
  • Proficiency with ShotGrid or similar production tracking software
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with asset workflows (modeling, surfacing, grooming, and handoff processes) is a plus
