Rigging TD/CG Generalist

RIGGING TD/CG GENERALIST We are looking for a Rigging TD/Generalist who can join our studio to work on a range of exciting projects across film, television and commercials. The artist will work closely with the Senior Rigger, and animation team to help with character setup, management of assets through the pipeline, and other generalist tasks throughout the studio. This is a challenging and rewarding role working with a world class crew. Ideal candidates will already have good industry experience, and will understand the demands and responsibilities of the position from the outset. RESPONSIBILITIES - Biped and Quadruped rig setups for production - Managing prop assets in our pipeline - Retargeting motion capture animation to custom rigs - A variety of other tasks as directed by Senior Rigger and Animator BASIC REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Computer animation or another relevant area of study, and/or equivalent job experience. - A strong understanding of anatomy, geometry and animation - A strong knowledge of Maya and basic MEL. - A strong attention to detail - Experience rigging a variety of different bi-ped characters APPLY APPLY [jobs@altvfx.com]
