Job Description

We are seeking a talented Lighting Artist with strong creative and technical skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Houdini Solaris and a keen eye for detail, lighting aesthetics, and scene composition.

You will be responsible for assembling required elements for assigned shots, creating light rigs, look development, and ensuring seamless integration within the show pipeline. This role requires collaboration with Lighting Leads, Compositors, and CG Supervisors to deliver high-quality visuals within production timelines.

• Assemble and integrate required elements for assigned shots, including light rig creation and shot-based look development.
• Optimize lighting scenes and troubleshoot rendering or pipeline-related issues.
• Apply a strong understanding of real-world lighting, surfaces, and photographic principles to achieve cinematic results.
• Work within established show structures, maintaining consistency and meeting production deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with Lighting Leads, CG Supervisors, and Compositors to ensure seamless pipeline workflow and render outputs.
• Take creative and technical direction effectively and deliver slap comps with AOVs for review.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Houdini Solaris is a must.
• 3–5 years of experience for Mid-level Lighting Artist roles.
• 6–8 years of experience for Senior Lighting Artist roles.
• Strong problem-solving and optimization skills.
• Ability to handle complex, challenging projects within given timelines.
• Positive, proactive attitude with strong team collaboration and communication skills.
• Receptive to feedback and capable of contributing to a supportive team environment.
