The VFX Producer oversees the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, and resources are effectively managed. They act as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams, supervise production workflows and outsourcing, and ensure clear communication, reporting, and overall project profitability from start to completion.

Key Missions:

• Create and plan the global schedule and the key milestones of the project
• Work in close cooperation with the Crew Planning team to insure your team is complete when starting a project
• Ensure that the weekly deliveries are made
• Submit a daily report to the Head of Production detailing your project’s progress, milestones, and issues.
• Keep the financial follow-up document updated and ensure the profitability of the project
• Manage outsourcing and contact with subcontractors (matchmove, roto, comp, 3D) and lead all outsourcing negotiations
• Update the project’s follow-up document with new team rates and ensure foreign cost expenses are not exceeded
• Ensure and maintain an excellent contact with the client and prepare reports on the project’s progression, both internally and externally (forecasts and VFX Reports)
• Ensure that the production pipeline is followed at all levels, Comp / DMP /CG and that all departments have their data updated
• Manage the quote(s) and additional services to send to the client and set up budgetary targets (in man days)
• Setup and lead Cinesync sessions and online calls with clients to receive precise and accurate information
• Communicate client briefs and deadlines to coordinators and/or to the artists
• Conduct project evaluation and project retrospective at the end of each project
• Establish an efficient methodology and global strategy with the VFX Supervisor
• All tasks given to the PM and/or Coordinator are clearly communicated and tracked

Profile:

• 4+ years of working as a Producer on VFX shows (Film, TV…)
• Comfortable handling projects with 2D and 3D workflows
• A great knowledge of Shotgrid (Flow Production Tracker)
• Great budgeting and planning skills using Shotgrid (Flow Production Tracker) and Excel tools
• Based in Belgium or willing to relocate
