Environment Modeler

We are currently looking for an Environment Modeler to join our talented team at our Toronto Studio.
To create allocated environments and props for the designated show, in line with the workflow and pipeline needs and to a consistent style and the quality level required.
Delivery: What you produce
- Sets, props and set dressing models.
- Previz models.
- Guidance for overseas studios.
Measurements: How we measure it
- Completion of tasks within agreed schedule.
- Handling of revisions and tweaks effectively
What you are regularly responsible for doing:
- Creating allocated props, sets and environments.
- Creating good basic UV layouts for the texture department.
- Working to maintain the brown bag modelling pipeline.
- Set dressing and instancing required as a part of the set modelling task.
- Documenting workflows and procedures.
- Complete training tasks assigned by the Dept Supervisor & Lead artist.
Things that help you do your job (what is essential & what is desirable)
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of the overall 3D asset creation pipeline and workflow; set dressing and instancing; previz to modelling workflow.
Experience:
- With asset tracking systems (e.g. Shotgun) (desirable). Speedtree (desirable).
Technical Skills:
- Sculpting skills for both hard surface and organic modelling.
- A keen eye for architecture, design and composition.
- Good understanding of the following Software: Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop, Speedtree (desirable).
