Reel Breakdown
Hand-selected by the VFX Engine team
I've always been passionate about movies, and that love for visual storytelling inspired me to become a VFX artist. I created this reel to showcase my ability to blend visual effects with narrative through seamless compositing. The shots highlight my skills in CG integration, rotoscoping, keying, set extensions, paint and cleanup, and multi-pass compositing. Each shot challenged me and helped push the boundaries of my creativity and understanding of CG compositing.
Shot - 1 : I recreated a scene from _Rogue One: A Star Wars Story_, a shot that appeared in the final trailer but was ultimately left out of the movie. My goal was to bring that moment to life using a mix of live-action and CG integration. The process involved location shooting, chroma keying, matching the lighting, and compositing multiple light passes to create a polished, cinematic final shot.
Shot - 2 : This shot is a recreation of the scene titled _The Arrival of the Resistance_ from _Star Wars: The Force Awakens_. It was built entirely in CG, with all 3D assets assembled in Maya and composited in Nuke to achieve the final look.
