Financial Analyst (14-month contract)
Job Summary:
Perform financial reviews and analyses to support the period-end close reporting and recurring forecasts, as well as the Management to make sound and timely business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and improve financial models supporting analyses / assessments.
- Prepare quarterly financial statements for Senior Management and Board of Directors.
- Perform analyses of financial results including trend analysis of key financial accounts.
- Facilitate external and internal audits and control testing.
- Research on new accounting standards and assess the impacts to financial statements.
- Develop / maintain efficient work processes and strike for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business related disciplines
- 2-3 years of accounting and financial reporting experience in Multi-national Companies. Audit experience in international accounting firms is preferred
- Familiar with Hong Kong Accounting Standards; knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office application; advanced Excel skills preferred
- Collaborative team player with good communication skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Member/Finalist of HKICPA or equivalent professional bodies is required
- Candidate with less experience will be considered for the Assoc. Financial Analyst position
