Great stories deserve great finishing. At Flow Postproduction, we help shape some of Europe’s finest audiovisual projects.
Flow Postproduction is one of Belgium's leading post-production studios and part of The Flow Group, together with Studio l'Equipe (Brussels & Wallonia) and Filmmore (The Netherlands). From grading and sound to VFX, subtitling and even analogue film processing, we craft stories with care.
We are looking for a driven and talented Visual Effects Supervisor to join the team.
As our VFX department continues to grow in both the scale and ambition of its projects, we are looking for an experienced Visual Effects Supervisor to help lead the creative and technical vision of our work.
We offer a permanent, full-time role where you are not just a supervisor, but a creative anchor. You will step into a vibrant environment where your technical expertise and artistic vision directly impact high-end European cinema and television.
YOU BRING
As our Visual Effects Supervisor, you are responsible for making critical creative and technical decisions. You act as the core creative sparring partner for production, heads of departments, and most importantly, your own team of artists.
You draw up compelling visual effects treatments that serve the narrative, while creating realistic budgets and planning alongside the VFX producer. You closely review the artists' work, providing clear, constructive feedback to optimize workflows and ensure deadlines are met. You stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with emerging technologies, thinking outside the box, and ensuring everything runs smoothly, even when the heat is on.
From initial script breakdowns and VFX design through on-set supervision, bidding, shot reviews and final delivery, you will help guide projects from concept to completion.
YOUR PROFILE
You have proven experience as a supervisor (VFX/CG/Comp) or Lead artist, with a track record in feature films and/or high-end television. You have worked on-set before and are thoroughly familiar with set etiquette. You know how to bridge the gap between production realities and digital magic.
You have a strong understanding of VFX workflows, including plates, tracking, compositing and CG. You are comfortable navigating the full VFX process, from initial creative development and bidding through production, post-production and final delivery.
You have experience with budgets, bids and schedules, and understand how to balance creative ambition with production realities. You are familiar with production management and tracking tools such as ShotGrid or equivalent.
You have a brilliant feel for aesthetics, cinematography, and timing. You stay remarkably cool under pressure.
You are a natural team player with exceptional time management. When it comes to problem-solving, MacGyver could probably learn a thing or two from you.
Clear communication, strong social skills, and the ability to articulate technical concepts to creative minds are absolutely essential. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. Fluency in or a strong understanding of French is a major plus that will truly set you apart.
