Disneyland Facilities Management Engineering Intern, Spring 2027
Job Summary:
About the Role & Program:
Within the Disneyland Resort, the Facilities Shared Services (FSS) Division within the Facilities & Operations Services (FOS). This program is specially designed to develop you professionally, increase your practical knowledge in your area of technical expertise, provide field experience in the world of Facilities, Building Operation Systems, Utilities and Project Management, while also completing valuable work for the Resort. You will have a wide range of opportunities to assist and provide key data to FSS Engineers, Engineering Service Managers and various Trades on a variety of project types providing facility and utility support to Attractions, Maintenance, Foods, Merchandise and Entertainment.
Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
What You Will Do:
- Locate, capture, and verify facility and utility assets in the field.
- Conduct field inspections and validate asset inventories.
- Assist in project planning and execution.
- Provide engineering support.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior related work experience is desired.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Availability to work various shifts.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Experience in reading blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with Esri’s suite of ArcGIS products.
Education:
- Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess unrestricted work authorization.
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.
Additional Information:
- Be compliant with the Disney Look appearance guidelines.
- Be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
- Be fully available Monday through Friday, PST, for the duration of the internship.
- Be able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program.
- Be able to provide/have reliable transportation to/fro work.
