Responsibilities:
- Build and ship AI-powered features from problem definition through production.
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand business needs and gather feedback.
- Own the user experience, including workflows, interfaces, and human-in-the-loop decisions.
- Use tools such as LLM APIs, prompt design, RAG, and agents to solve problems effectively.
- Build within Disney’s enterprise systems with appropriate security and monitoring practices.
- Test changes before launch using regression checks and evaluation methods.
- Contribute reusable code and patterns when they help future engagements.
- Partner with teammates through code reviews and shared problem solving.
- Explain technical decisions and tradeoffs clearly to business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience shipping software for real users, including 1 year shipping AI features in production.
- Experience with modern AI development tools and techniques.
- Daily use of AI coding tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar.

- Strong product and business judgment, connecting features to user needs and outcomes.
- Strong learning agility and comfort with changing technology.
- Ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a product manager, designer, operator, or engineer using AI tools in real products.
- Experience building AI products without a dedicated engineering team.
- Forward-deployed engineering or similar experience.
- Strong design instincts and ability to ship polished experiences.
- Experience across multiple business domains like media, parks, retail, or finance.
- Experience with evaluation methods like A/B testing and production monitoring.
- Excellent written documentation skills.
- Experience with enterprise-scale data or legacy systems.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus relevant work experience.
