Since 2014, Goodbye Kansas has been bringing imagination to life through world-class technology and extraordinary talent. As a global studio spanning Scanning, Mocap, VFX and Animation, our employees are part of shaping what’s next.

Internships

At Goodbye Kansas, we’re always on the lookout for the next generation of artists, designers and storytellers to join us across Games, VFX and Animation.

We value curiosity, collaboration and creativity, and welcome internship applications year-round. We don’t run a fixed internship program, but when the right opportunity and timing align, we love bringing interns on board.

This is an open application for internship opportunities across our creative and technical teams. Depending on your skills and area of interest, opportunities may include experience in one or several of our disciplines:

• Creative Department: Concept Art and Visual Development
• Build Department: Modelling, Texturing, Lookdev and Groom
• Animation Department: Rigging and Animation
• Shots 3D Department: Previs, Layout, CFX, FX, Lighting, Realtime TD and Unreal Cinematic Art
• Shots 2D Department: Editing, Paint, Roto and Compositing

From day one, you’ll be paired with a dedicated buddy and supported by a welcoming team of artists, leads and supervisors. Depending on the internship, you may contribute to live productions or take on a focused development project connected to your learning goals and our studio pipeline.

Along the way, you’ll gain hands-on experience with professional tools, workflows and production practices relevant to your craft, while receiving mentorship, feedback and insight into life at a working studio.
