Job Title: Mid/Senior Compositor
The Role:
We are looking for talented Mid to Senior Compositors to join our team and help bring high-end visual effects to life. In this role you will be the final creative touchpoint, working alongside a talented crew to seamlessly integrate complex CG elements and live-action footage into compelling and photoreal imagery.

Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality compositing work that integrates CG elements, live-action footage and visual effects to achieve the artistic and technical requirements of each shot.
- Use compositing techniques such as colour correction, tracking, keying, roto, paint, matte work and multi-pass compositing, with support and guidance available where required.
- Use Nuke to create and deliver shots in line with project requirements and artistic direction.
- Take ownership of assigned shots appropriate to your level of experience, identifying and resolving technical or creative challenges.
- Work collaboratively with the 2D Supervisor, VFX Supervisor and other team members to develop and refine shots.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including lighting, modelling, and texturing, to ensure cohesive integration of assets and achieve consistent visual aesthetics.
- Provide creative input and innovative ideas to elevate the quality of shots, sequences, and visual effects as a whole.
- Participate in reviews and feedback sessions, iterating on shots to meet artistic and technical standards while adhering to project deadlines.
- Maintain organised file structures and adhere to naming conventions, ensuring efficient data management and streamlined collaboration within the team.
Requirements:
- Proven industry experience as Compositor working on high-end film, episodic or commercial projects.
- Extensive proficiency in Nuke.
- An understanding of 3D software (e.g., Maya, Houdini) and experience integrating complex 3D elements into compositing.
- Demonstrated experience of advanced compositing techniques, including green screen keying, motion tracking, and intricate matte painting.
- Exceptional eye for detail, colour, lighting, and composition, showcasing a consistent history of delivering top-tier visual results.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
- A degree in Animation, VFX, Computer Graphics, or a related field is a bonus, but your reel and industry experience are essentials.
