3D Animator

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in bringing characters, creatures, and objects to life through the magic of animation. You will be part of a dynamic and creative team, collaborating closely with other artists, animators, and directors to create visually stunning and emotionally compelling animated content.
Expected Tasks:
- Use your expertise in animation principles and software proficiency (in Maya) to craft realistic, expressive, and seamless character animations.
- Adhere to project timelines and production schedules while maintaining a commitment to delivering high-quality animations that align with the project’s artistic vision.
- Work closely with other departments, such as modellers and riggers, to optimize character assets for animation and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the animation process.
- Collaborate effectively with directors and fellow animators, actively participating in creative discussions and incorporating feedback into your work.
- Ensuring all work follows studio policies and guidelines
Essential skills:
- Demonstrated ability as a character animator in Maya
- Experience is preferred (but if your reel can demonstrate that you know what you’re doing, not essential)
- Ability to positively receive and implement constructive feedback to improve your skills and work
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
- A passion for animation and a drive to create memorable and emotionally resonant visual experiences.
