For the Fullmetal Alchemist project:
I came across this illustration by the artist Aliya Chen and immediately wanted to recreate it in 3D as faithfully as possible with movement. My aim was to focus primarily on set dressing and lighting, and to explore and practise areas where I’m less confident, such as groom and plant simulations.
Nilio Aloeboetoe is the compositing artist behind this brilliant result.

The Abandoned Temple:
This was a small, quick project with Nilio Aloeboetoe. I was mainly responsible for the modelling and the details, such as the characters and the flowers.

Grape:
My aim was to create an effective vertical composition and achieve the most realistic lookdev result possible, through few back-and-forth exchanges with the lighting artist to achieve the desired final result. This was a collaboration with Simone Frazier, who was in charge of lighting.

Skeleton
Having learnt about scatter in my fourth year of study, I wanted to set myself a challenge with a project to see if I had properly understood both the theory and the practice.
From an artistic point of view, I was inspired by Gaëlle Seguillon’s concepts.

Hayete:
I was able to collaborate with our compositing artist, Jalen Hart, on the research and development of the stylisation for our film. We created asset variants and group cluster for our shop’s market , along with different LOD for the bricks depending on the camera angle and position to opmized or Lebanese village.
