Campus VFX is best known for teaching role-specific training rather than generalist programs, with dedicated tracks in VFX Compositing (Nuke), FX Technical Direction (Houdini), and Digital Lighting (Katana). Their approach emphasizes live instruction, small class formats, collaboration, and direct mentorship, aiming to replicate a studio learning environment instead of relying on pre-recorded tutorial content.
Originally founded as Lost Boys Studios in 2006, the school developed a strong reputation within Canada’s VFX education landscape and later expanded to Montreal in 2018 to support artists in Quebec’s growing VFX industry. Today, the school operates under one unified brand: Campus VFX, positioning itself as “Canada’s School of VFX” while continuing its legacy focus on mentorship, integrity, and student success.
