Rigging TD
DIGIC has been making 3D animated films for more than twenty years. We have won numerous prestigious awards and created short films for world-renowned brands such as Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, Netflix's Love, Death & Robots and Amazon's Secret Level series.
Our team is currently working on several high-profile projects, including the animated streaming series based on the world-famous card game Magic: The Gathering for Netflix.
We are looking for experienced Rigging TDs to work with us on future projects.
The starting date and duration of your contract will be determined by the project schedule AND your availability!
Responsibilities
- Rigging of characters, animals, creatures and props in Maya, considering both artistic and technical requirements.
- Collaborating with animators, modelers, and CFX artists to optimize the production workflow.
- Supporting the development of tools and pipeline solutions.
- Troubleshooting and providing technical support during the rigging process.
Essential skills
- Strong technical background in Maya rigging.
- Experience with simulations (nCloth, nHair).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English AND/OR Hungarian
Desirable skills
- Experience in large-scale production pipelines.
- Previous work experience in games or film VFX.
- Knowledge of Houdini.
- Knowledge of anatomy.
- Knowledge of Python scripting
