Chase is an artist and educator working with Houdini and Unreal, creating simulations, game systems, pre-vis, and real-time effects. Based in Canada, he spent over four years at Lost Boys | Campus VFX, where he developed Houdini courses, delivered lectures, supported render-farm management, and worked with multiple custom pipelines and Deadline. During this time, he also completed his FX TD training at Campus VFX, evolving from self-taught artist to instructor to student, with a particular focus on Vellum. Before entering visual effects, Chase worked as a Certified Scuba Diving Instructor in the Cayman Islands, training divers and supervising complex dives — an experience that shaped his calm, safety-minded teaching style. Today, he enjoys combining curiosity, collaboration, and technical problem-solving to push creative boundaries in both real-time and FX-driven work.
