Reel Breakdown
My reel focuses on my work as a VFX Compositor, with a mix of professional studio work and personal projects. I primarily used Foundry Nuke, along with Adobe Photoshop and Mocha.
The reel covers a range of compositing techniques including keying and despill, roto, cleanup and object removal, CG and 2D element integration, glow and lens flare integration, DMP and camera projection, set extensions, reflections and lighting integration, camera shake, grading, fog, dust and debris, lens redistortion, and regraining.
I’m particularly proud of the variety in the reel and being able to take shots from concept through to a final comp on my personal projects. I’m also proud of the professional work I contributed to on projects like The Boys Season 5 and Thrash, where I worked on more production-focused compositing tasks such as glow integration, lens flares, cleanup, keying, despill, and set extensions. Overall, I wanted the reel to show both my technical compositing skills and my ability to make a shot feel cohesive and believable.
