Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate has proven track record in sales with a strong ability to close deals. This candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. They will be focused and have strong communication skills. Critical thinking and strategic planning are essential, along with a proven ability to execute effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Identify partnership opportunities
  • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
  • Maintain existing business
  • Think critically when planning to assure project success

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales with a strong ability to close deals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Advantages

  • Passionate and familiar with film or game industry
  • Experience in any position in game/animation/VFX production
  • Proven ability to efficiently organize, lead and execute meetings with effective decisions
  • Knowledge of the terminology and processes associated with CG production
  • Knowledge of CG software such as Maya or Nuke
